Larry: Alright. So, we’ve got Ann. We’ve got these.

Ann: Oh my God! Ok, I’m not going to do well with this.

“Buongiorno Italia col caffè ri…ristratto, Le calze nuove nel primo cassetto”?

Larry: Yes.

Ann: “Con la bendiera in tin…tintoria”?

Larry: Yes.

Ann: “E…e una…ok…sea…no, seicento?”

Larry: Think of this like two words, but it’s really one word.

Ann: Ok. “Seicento”?

Larry: Yes.

Ann: “Giù di carzoleria”. This is not well, never mind. “Carozzeria, carrozzeria”. This is going to be tough for us.

Larry: Hear what he says.

Larry: So he said: “Buongiorno Italia col…”

Ann: Yeah, “Hello Italy”, and it’s a kind of coffee, it’s a ristretto coffee, but I don’t know, it’s with…I don’t know what the ristretto…what you do the coffee. Is that the one that you put the shot in?

(video plays)

Larry: It’s like a stronger coffee.

Ann: It’s like the one where you put a little more shoot in there…

Larry: Yeah, it’s like a little…

Ann: Ok. So, “With your strong coffee”.

Is that like “a new calzon”. What is that?

Larry: No, “le calze” is “socks”, these are “socks”.

Ann: It’s something new, “new socks”. Oh, “new socks”. “First…cassette?”

Larry: Yes, what it is “cassetto”, where you put socks.

Ann:  You put socks on your feets?

Lydia: Before they go on your feet.

Ann: Oh my God, “with new socks on your draw?”.

Larry: “Your first draw, yeah”.

Lydia: In the top draw.

Larry: Top draw.

Ann: Oh, ok. Ok, you’ve got…let’s see. What is “bandiera”? Some kind of clothing? Like a scarf?

Larry: A flag.

Ann: “In tintoria”. “Tinto” is color, so…

Larry: But this is a “laundromat”.

Ann: Wait a minute, “with a flag in a laundromat”?

Larry: Yes, you’re washing your flag, that the drycleaner is washing your flag.

Ann: Your flag at the drycleaner…

Lydia: So you hang it up, like Tony has his flag. You take your flag at the laundromat, don’t you Tony?

Larry: you can’t have a dirty flag, Ann.

Ann: Yes, but I mean…ok, so you have your socks in the draw and your flag in laundromat. How come I get this bizarre one?

This one I have absolutely no idea.

Larry: Seicento is a model of a car of Fiat, it’s a 600. It’s like a working man’s car. So “seicento” means “600”.

“Giù di carrozzeria”.

Ann: I’m completely lost.

Larry: “Carrozzeria” is like a body. So he’s saying: “Hello Italy, you have this model 600 car, the Fiat model 600 car” that’s kind of old.

“Giù” is like “down”, “giù” is “down”, so “the body is down”. It’s like a Beetle old car, you know?

Ann: Oh, it’s…it is bad in Italy because people bang in everything when they park. Nobody fixes up the cars because you get into this park and you just bang-bang.

Lydia: It can mean it’s in the body shop, that is being fixed, isn’t it?

Larry: No, it’s just a junk…he got a junked-up Beetle, you know, a model 600 car…

Ann: Would it be…ok, so: “Hello Italy with your strong coffee, your socks in the top draw, your flag in a laundromat, your beat-up car”.

Larry: Yes.

Ann: He’s like hitting all of the things that [05:11]. That’s quite funny.

Italian president is quite funny actually.
